Gatlinburg has announced the debut of a Christmas concert, featuring 1980s favorites Tiffany and Matthew & Gunnar NELSON, as part of a new two-day holiday celebration. This event is designed to add a new experience to the festive season in the Smokies, combining music, nostalgia, and holiday cheer.

The celebration is scheduled to begin on Friday, December 4, with Gatlinburg’s 51st Annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade. The parade will step off at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Gatlinburg. Tiffany and twin brothers Matthew & Gunnar Nelson are slated to lead the parade as Grand Marshals. The annual event is known for transforming downtown Gatlinburg into a festive display with illuminated floats, marching bands, larger-than-life balloons, and various holiday entertainment.

The holiday events will continue the following evening with the Gatlinburg Christmas Concert. The concert is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, from 8–10 p.m. at Mills Auditorium, located within the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Tiffany and Matthew & Gunnar NELSON will take the stage to perform songs that brought them fame, alongside Christmas and other holiday favorites.

Tiffany rose to prominence as a defining voice of late-1980s pop music. Her hits include “I Think We’re Alone Now,” “Could’ve Been,” and “I Saw Him Standing There.” Her chart-topping song “I Think We’re Alone Now” has also garnered new fans through its appearance in the Netflix series *Stranger Things*. Tiffany continues to record new music and perform for audiences globally.

Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, performing as NELSON, gained recognition with their multi-platinum debut album *After the Rain*. This album featured the number one hit “(Can’t Live Without Your) Love and Affection.” Other popular songs from the album include “After the Rain,” “More Than Ever,” and “Only Time Will Tell.” The brothers continue to tour and perform, carrying on the musical legacy of the Nelson family. They have also released a best-selling autobiography titled *What Happened To Your Hair*.

Together, the Grand Marshal appearance in the parade and the new Christmas Concert are intended to create a full weekend of holiday entertainment. This initiative aims to provide visitors with an additional reason to experience the Christmas season in Gatlinburg.
